Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you turn messy data into actionable insights that drive finance decisions. You will own key financial metrics and KPIs, build dashboards that senior leaders actually use, and unify data from multiple ERP systems. You’ll analyse performance to spot trends, risks, and opportunities, and support forecasting and budgeting with data-led reasoning. The role emphasizes governance, automation, and evolving reporting with AI and intelligent automation where relevant. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to shape finance and operations reporting and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Define and own KPIs and financial metrics
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards used by senior leaders
• Consolidate data from multiple ERP systems and APIs to create a single source of truth
• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Support forecasting, budgeting and scenario modelling with data-led insights
• Improve governance and automate manual processes in reporting
• Explore agentic AI and intelligent automation to enhance reporting

Key requirements

• 2–3 years in a finance-facing analytics role
• Strong Power BI skills
• Solid FP&A knowledge
• Ability to define and track KPIs
• Excellent communication skills (presenting to finance and non-finance audiences)
• SQL, Python, and advanced Excel are bonus skills
• Experience with star or snowflake data models is a bonus
