Analyst, Portfolio Management

Overview

As an Analyst in our Portfolio Management group, you support day-to-day fund management and collaborate across global offices to ensure accurate exposures and timely delivery of investment solutions. You will engage in corporate action analysis, market and security monitoring, and portfolio reporting, while contributing to process improvements and cross-functional projects. The role offers strong learning opportunities through the Analyst Development Program and exposure to senior team members. Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Portfolio Managers and Analysts across global offices on corporate actions, cash balances, and portfolio holdings
• Monitor and analyse securities for significant changes
• Assist with portfolio reporting including returns, market value calculations, and characteristics
• Conduct special projects including portfolio analysis, index analysis, and ad-hoc data requests
• Propose and develop improvements to existing business processes
• Communicate substantively with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, DFA global offices, and custodian banks

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline; engineering, mathematics, science, finance preferred
• Detail oriented, organized, motivated, able to work independently and in a team
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively
• Capacity to absorb and apply information from formal and informal learning
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Interest in financial markets and academic research related to the field
• Prior exposure to programming and/or databases (Python, SQL, VBA) preferred
