Real Estate Senior Associate

Overview

In this Senior Associate role within the London real estate team, you will manage substantial workstreams across investments, development, acquisitions, disposals and real estate finance, while steering matters daily. You will mentor and develop junior lawyers and play an active part in business development to support firm growth. The practice handles high-profile deals for institutional investors, developers and occupiers, offering a platform to shape major real estate transactions. You will contribute to profitability and cross-functional collaboration in a top-tier, international firm with a strong market reputation.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant workstreams across investment, development, acquisitions, disposals and real estate finance
• Guide day-to-day matters and senior oversight of transactions
• Coach and develop junior lawyers
• Drive business development and client relationships
• Participate in firm profitability and cost management initiatives

Key requirements

• Significant PQE at senior or managing associate level in transactional real estate
• Admission in England & Wales, or qualification elsewhere with recent UK transactional experience
• Proven track record of supervising and developing junior lawyers
• Good understanding of law firm profitability and cost management
