Embedded Linux Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and optimize embedded Linux software and host components for high-speed networking and photonics-based systems. You will work closely with hardware and systems teams to implement low-level software, kernel/driver work, and system integration on advanced platforms. Responsibilities

• Develop embedded Linux software and host components for high-speed networking platforms
• Contribute to Linux kernel or PCIe driver development
• Perform low-level system integration and validation on embedded hardware
• Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to align software with platform goals
• Support optimization for energy-efficient, high-performance networking systems

Key requirements

• Strong experience with Embedded Linux development
• Experience developing Linux kernel or PCIe drivers
• Proficiency in C, C++ and Python
• Experience working on ARM or soft-processor-based systems
• Ideally exposure to networking systems, HPC or data centre technologies
