M&E Quantity Surveyor

In this M&E Quantity Surveyor role, you will drive commercial management for M&E packages across multiple projects, focusing on cost control, forecasting, and risk management. Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of M&E packages across multiple projects
• Prepare and review bills of quantities, valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Forecasting, cost reporting, and commercial risk management in collaboration with project managers
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout project lifecycle
• Ensure cost controls are implemented effectively and commercial processes are followed
• Support tendering, procurement, and bid pricing activity when required

Key requirements

• Experience as an M&E QS in building services, construction, or specialist subcontractor settings
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical contracting commercial processes
• Confident communicator with clients, site teams, and stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
• Strong analytical skills and methodical approach to financial controls and reporting
