Responsibilities: Here’s what your journey with us entails:
- To assist manager in writing annual departmentalbusiness plan
- To motivate, coach and train associates withinall aspects of the operation
- To assist in the recruitment and selection of thebar team
- To ensure all associates receive mandatorytraining on departmental induction, New Hire, Passports, DDA, H&S, andIn the Beginning
- To maximise usage of associates between the Barand Restaurant
- To ensure level of service is consistent with hoteland company standards to exceed guest expectations
- To ensure the Marriott brand standards are metand maintained and action where necessary
- To oversee the departmental H&S file andbrand standard files
- To ensure weekly payroll and revenue forecast iscompleted
- To take action on all areas of underperformance
- To ensure all liquor controls are in place and coordinate weekly key lines and monthly stock takes
- Organise and run monthly departmental meetingsand communicate minutes to relevant parties
- To ensure all associates adhere to the Marriott 6principles of hospitality at all times
- To ensure departmental and company procedures areadhered to at all times
- To ensurethat all monies are held in a proper manner, recorded and locked away inaccordance with company standards
Safety and Company Policies:
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a supervisory customer service role.
