About the company
A long established, successful manufacturing business based near Derry City are seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to their growing finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Finance and the wider finance team, gaining exposure to all areas of the business. Ideal role for a newly/recently qualified accountant, or part-qualified accountants with experience in industry, seeking a varied finance position with opportunities for career progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with cashflow management, budgeting and forecasting
- Preparing and submitting statutory returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or part-qualified/QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
