Maintenance Engineer

We are currently seeking to recruit for the following position:
Contractual Hours: Evening Shift: Monday to Friday 16.30 pm to 01 am
This is an opportunity to join our well established Engineering Team in the role of Maintenance Engineer on our evening shift at the Lisnaskea site.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will support the engineering Supervisor / Team with all maintenance activities whilst on shift.
Key Responsibilities:
To carry out preventative maintenance schedules and general maintenance tasks to plant, services and buildings to a high standard
To respond quickly to breakdown situations, identify issues and problem solve
To carry out work orders / instructions
Carry out daily assessment of machines to assess what work has to be done and prioritise urgent jobs to ensure maximum output from machinery
Liaise / communicate with Engineering and Production teams
To be flexible in providing adequate cover for holiday and shift cover when required
Develop SOPs to build plant knowledge base and improve skill levels across maintenance and production
To complete any other reasonable duties as requested by Management
The successful candidate will ideally:
Be a multi skilled, committed and flexible individual
Have a recognised Apprenticeship and 3 years experience
Working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic systems
Welding and fabrication experience
Self-motivated proactive engineer
