Senior Night Carer – Residential Care Home

Overview

In this role you will lead care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents in a Barchester home. You’ll supervise and train teams, manage on-shift duties, and support with medication administration, care plan review, and risk assessments. You will liaise with GPs, district nurses and families, upholding residents’ dignity in a warm, welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff, including training, supervision and delegating duties on shift
• Administer and order medication and support with associated processes
• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and resident families
• Uphold residents’ dignity and preferences and contribute to a warm, vibrant environment

Key requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
• previous residential care experience
