Overview
As Supply Market Management Associate Director, you will shape external supply environments for major programmes through insight-led market intelligence and supplier strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor to multi-disciplinary teams, guiding procurement and commercial decisions. The role focuses on understanding markets, risks and capacity, rather than day-to-day delivery. This is a chance to evolve Turner & Townsend’s SMM offering and work with blue-chip clients on transformational projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop supply market assessments, intelligence reports and insights to inform procurement strategies
- Analyse market capacity, resilience, innovation and risk across key categories
- Lead market engagement activities to support major programmes and investment gateways
- Advise on supplier segmentation, relationship strategies and routes to market
- Support sourcing strategy development via cost driver analysis, benchmarking and insights
- Manage defined SMM workstreams with quality and timeliness accountability
- Engage with clients and senior stakeholders as a trusted supply market advisor
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed market insight into broader strategies
- Coach junior colleagues and contribute to capability development within SMM
Key requirements
- Significant experience in supply market management, procurement, commercial or advisory roles within infrastructure, construction or regulated environments
- Experience delivering market analysis, supplier engagement or sourcing support on complex projects
- Understanding of procurement lifecycles and routes to market; public sector procurement awareness desirable
- Track record working with multidisciplinary teams and senior client stakeholders
- Degree qualified; professional membership (e.g., MCIPS) achieved or working toward
