Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager

Overview

In this role you own the end-to-end supply chain to support a fast-scaling, sustainability-led food manufacturing business in West London. You’ll combine hands-on stock control with data-driven planning and system optimisation, working closely with founders and operations to enable growth. You will drive demand forecasting, production planning, and supplier management, shaping operations as the company scales. Responsibilities

• End-to-End stock and inventory control across materials, packaging, and finished goods; minimise write-offs and ensure warehouse accuracy
• Manage international and UK purchasing, lead times, freight, logistics, and customs clearance with suppliers
• Build robust demand planning models and dashboards; align inventory with factory schedules
• Own and optimise the inventory/ERP system (Cin7 Core); evaluate integrations and automate reporting
• Foster strong supplier, logistics, and internal ops relationships to support high performance
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including cost-saving projects and workflow redesigns

Key requirements

• Experience in food operations, drinks, or fast-paced batch manufacturing
• Proven ability to optimise an ERP, WMS or inventory system; Cin7 Core is a strong advantage
• Advanced data and Excel skills; build dashboards and forecasting from scratch
• End-to-end supply chain ownership including import logistics and production scheduling
• Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver in an entrepreneurial environment
