Maintenance Manager

Overview

As Maintenance Manager at Greencore Kiveton, you will lead maintenance activities for a large quiche bakery, aiming to maximise asset availability and safety. You’ll guide a multi-skilled engineering team, drive preventive maintenance and asset lifecycle strategies, and foster continuous improvement. This role sits at the heart of a fast-paced FMCG environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable production. Responsibilities

• Design and execute a maintenance schedule to maximise asset availability
• Provide leadership to keep colleagues safe, engaged, developed and performing
• Maintain planned preventive maintenance systems for proactive risk-based maintenance
• Monitor departmental KPIs and align activity to targets
• Apply asset management strategies to optimise performance over the life cycle
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering department

Key requirements

• Engineering management experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Project management and budget oversight experience
• Experience with Microsoft tools and computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
• OSH certification with food hygiene accreditation
• Experience leading a diverse workforce
• Experience contributing to a multi-functional operational management team
• Report writing experience
• Ideally Engineering HNC level or equivalent industrial experience
• Maintenance management expertise (FMGCA, RCM, Tribology, CBH)
