Responsibilities

• design electrical systems and create electrical diagrams and wiring designs
• select components and test equipment
• investigate electrical faults and ensure safety and compliance
• conduct product development from design through to production
• work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, manufacturing, supply chain) and mentor peers

Key requirements

• several years of electrical engineering experience
• experience designing electrical systems for automotive, industrial, transport or similar environments
• experience testing equipment and diagnosing electrical faults
• strong knowledge of electrical safety and wiring/schematic creation
• ability to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• based in or within commuting distance of Leatherhead, Surrey
