Overview

In this role you will drive growth for a technical manufacturing business across the UK & Ireland. You will cultivate new customers and strengthen key accounts through OEMs, distributors, and other B2B partners, while managing a robust sales pipeline. The position is field-based, requiring extensive travel to meet buyers and partners and coordinate with the European commercial team. You will shape go-to-market strategies, negotiate long-term agreements, and deliver compelling product propositions that support market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customers and commercial opportunities across the UK & Ireland
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline against revenue targets
  • Develop existing strategic accounts including OEMs and distribution partners
  • Identify new routes to market and target accounts
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments to spot growth opportunities
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and foster long-term, profitable relationships
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Operations and the wider European commercial team
  • Run targeted sales initiatives to convert prospects
  • Deliver customer meetings, presentations and product/business propositions

Key requirements

  • Experience in Business Development, Territory Sales, Area Sales or similar B2B role
  • Proven hunter mentality with success in winning new customers
  • Experience working with OEMs, distributors, dealers or other channel partners
  • Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage longer-term B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisational, territory planning and prioritisation skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland
