Associate Professorship of International Business

Overview

As an Associate Professor of International Business, you will contribute to Oxford’s International Business group by advancing rigorous, policy-relevant scholarship in global strategy and political economy. You will publish in top management and social science journals, mentor students, and collaborate across departments to tackle issues like sustainability, value chains, and the future of work. This role supports a joint appointment with St Antony’s College and offers a pathway to broaden methodological breadth and impact. You will shape research and teaching that connect theory with real-world business challenges at scale.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-impact research in global strategy and political economy of business
• Publish in top-tier journals and books with leading publishers
• Contribute to teaching, supervision, and program development
• Collaborate across Oxford and St Antony’s College with cross-disciplinary teams
• Engage in mixed-methods research (qualitative, quantitative, experimental)
• Address global issues such as sustainability, AI adoption, and future of work
