Senior Software Engineer
to develop modern digital services and help deliver scalable, secure and user-focused technology solutions.
The RoleYou’ll work alongside technical leads, senior stakeholders, product managers and other engineers to develop
Node.js applications, APIs, microservices and serverless solutions . You’ll play a key role in technical delivery, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with security and engineering best practices.
Key SkillsStrong commercial experience with
Node.jsExperience with
Express.js and/or Nest.jsStrong
JavaScript / TypeScript
development skillsExperience developing and integrating
REST APIsExperience with
microservices and serverless applicationsExperience developing and maintaining
CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of application scalability, security and maintainabilityExperience with unit and integration testingExperience integrating applications with third-party systems, APIs and webhooksStrong understanding of secure software development and data protectionAgile / user-centred development experienceStrong technical documentation and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with senior stakeholders, product teams and engineersSC Clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
