Description
The Construction Solicitor will be:
- Working with partners on a broad range of contentious construction matters
- Assisting with high value and complex construction disputes
- Advising developers, contractors and other construction industry clients
- Working on disputes involving contractual and project related issues
- Assisting with alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and arbitrations
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, submissions and other legal documentation
Profile
The Construction Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor with ideally 0 to 3 years PQE
- Interested in developing a career specialising in construction law
- Ideally experienced in or exposed to contentious construction matters
- Familiar with dispute resolution and alternative dispute resolution processes
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Able to work effectively alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers
- Ambitious, personable and keen to develop within a specialist practice
- Ties to the Leeds area
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £63,000 to £75,000
