Software Engineer – Software Delivery

Overview

Join Neo4j Aura to boost engineering efficiency by building an internal developer platform. You’ll empower Aura teams with self-service tooling, reducing bottlenecks and speeding up delivery. Work across engineering to streamline CI/CD, Kubernetes operations, and production testing. Your work shapes developer experience and accelerates value delivery for a global customer base. This role offers a chance to influence platform strategy and tooling culture.

Responsibilities

• Improve build speed and quality by enhancing CI runners and build tooling
• Collaborate with ArgoCD to shape production software delivery
• Develop and evolve Kubernetes control-plane capabilities and resource management
• Build scaffolding and tooling to simplifiy component creation
• Provide testing frameworks and improve testing of components
• Enhance the CD platform with Argo Rollouts to enable testing in production
• Foster modern software practices: continuous delivery, feature flags, testing in production

Key requirements

• Strong Kubernetes experience
• Knowledge of Kubernetes built-in resources (Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets)
• Experience with the operator pattern and Custom Resources
• Strong Golang experience and multiple Go projects
• Understanding of Golang build/packaging
• Experience with modern CI/CD practices and pipelines
• Experience building and running Docker images
• Interest in solving developers’ pain points
