Python/AIML Developer – Software Engineer III

Overview

As a Software Engineer III, you help design, build, and secure scalable technology products within Corporate Technology. You’ll work on production Python systems, ML/AI-enabled features, and data-driven improvements across multiple business domains. You collaborate in an agile team to deliver reliable solutions, applying secure coding practices and AI-assisted development tools. This role offers impact through scalable architectures and continuous improvement in a regulated financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design and troubleshoot to handle complex problems
• Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain related algorithms
• Leverage enterprise AI coding tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and testing
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring design constraints are met
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to visualize and improve software apps and systems
• Identify hidden data patterns to drive improvements in code hygiene and system architecture

Key requirements

• 5+ years of applied Python experience including web/API services (Flask or FastAPI)
• Experience taking ML models from prototype to production (training, packaging, deployment, monitoring, retraining)
• Proficiency with large datasets and distributed compute (Spark/Databricks) and SQL
• Hands-on use of enterprise AI-assisted development tools with ability to validate outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and security expectations; guide peers on safe usage
• Knowledge of LLM patterns (prompt design, RAG, embeddings, vector search, structured output) and agentic AI frameworks (multi-agent orchestration)
• Familiarity with Google ADK, Arize Phoenix SDK, Claude skills; CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security practices
