Senior Construction Manager

Overview

In this Senior Construction Manager role, you will lead delivery on high-quality projects from inception to completion within TTs PMC team in London. You’ll nurture client and stakeholder relationships to support business growth while upholding safety, quality, and timely, on-budget results. You’ll drive efficient resource use, subcontractor oversight, and compliance with current legislation. Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Architects, QS, clients, subcontractors and other project professionals
• Foster professional relationships with all third-party stakeholders
• Uphold collaboration, safety, timely delivery, budget adherence, quality finish and defect minimization
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with legislation
• Optimize use of resources (labour, plant, subcontractors, materials)
• Align procurement schedule with construction programme
• Oversee appointment of subcontractors and suppliers
• Oversee construction phase health and safety planning
• Lead Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental practices and ensure compliance with legislation
• Organize team structure for efficient resource use
• Collaborate with project commercial team to deliver within cost plan

Key requirements

• Proven experience as Senior Construction Manager with Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
• Strong technical knowledge of construction procedures
• MCIOB and degree in a related subject
• Up-to-date knowledge of building and Health & Safety legislation
• Commercial and contractual awareness
