We are looking for an experienced Associate (minimum 4+ years PQE) to join our Employment Law team in either Edinbugh or Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident managing their own caseload and providing practical, commercially focused advice to a varied client base.
You will work closely with clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, while also playing an important role in the continued development of the team.
The role
You will advise and support clients across a broad range of employment law matters, including:
- Tribunal work including drafting ET3s and appearing in Hearings
- Advising on day-to-day HR and employee relations advice
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies and procedures
- Settlement agreements
- Employment aspects of corporate transactions
- Delivering training and updates to clients
About you
We are looking for a qualified solicitor with strong employment law experience who is comfortable taking responsibility for their own caseload.
You will be:
- Confident in dealing directly with clients and providing clear, practical advice
- Experienced in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Collaborative, approachable and keen to contribute to the wider team
- Interested in developing client relationships and supporting the growth of the practice
