About The Role
Pay Details
Grade 8, SCP 26 – 30 £38,510 – £42,123 / Grade 9, SCP 31 – 35 £43,149 – £47,665 p.a.
Salary on appointment will depend upon and experience as determined by the appointing officer.There is no automatic progression from Grade 8 to Grade 9.

Description
This Social Work post is a dynamic and exciting role with a varied and interesting workload. You will need excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage rapidly changing and competing priorities. Experience of working within a first point of contact /crisis intervention team would be desirable but not essential.
About You
You will need:
- A recognised Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Social Work i.e. Degree, DipSW, CQSW etc.
- Registration with the Care Council
- Experience of working with adults who are vulnerable through illness, disability or age related frailty
- Assessment of Adult service users and carers.
- Working in partnership with statutory/voluntary organisations to promote the independence of service users
