Assembly Operative
Gi Group is looking for an Assembly Operative to work in Warwick / Leamington Spa CV34 Area.
You will be working for a well‑known Business within the area, offering development and training to build and produce Hydraulic components for a range of machinery and vehicles.
Morning shift: £13p/h Std. – OT rates of £19.50 & £26.00.
Monday to Thursday – 6.00am – 2.45pm. Friday – 6.00am – 12.00 midday.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assemble hydraulic components.
- Receive working instructions from Senior Operatives and work to standard operation.
- Operate a range of tools such as air tools and drills.
- Manually Assembling a range of parts to reach targets.
- Maintaining product quality by detecting any deterioration in finish or appearance, informing the Senior Operative so remedial action may be taken.
- Testing completed products on testing rigs.
- Working in multiple area within the business. Warehouse / Assembly / Testing.
Requirements:
- Previous assembly operative experience will be required.
- Ability to handle assembly parts in a range of sizes.
- Flexibility to work in multiple areas and completing a range of tasks to suit operation needs. – could involved lifting and carrying a range of products of different weights.
- Basic literacy to be able to read and understand technical instructions and drawings, Health and Safety information, workplace practices and policies.
- Numerical skills to contribute to counting stock.
