Solicitor – Property Litigation – Plymouth – NQ-1 PQE

Overview

In this role you will join a growing Plymouth Property Litigation team to manage a varied, high-value caseload for clients including developers, occupiers and lenders. You will work closely with senior lawyers in a supportive, ambitious environment and take early responsibility for cases across commercial and residential disputes. The role offers exposure to high-quality contentious property work and opportunities for progression and skills development. You will help shape client outcomes through proactive communication and sound commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters
• Handle commercial landlord and tenant disputes, Building Safety Act matters and real property disputes
• Manage service charge disputes, property insolvency and secured recoveries
• Maintain direct client contact and involvement in complex matters
• Collaborate with developers, housebuilders, investors and local authorities
• Operate with early case responsibility and contribute to client strategies
• Join a collaborative team with growth plans and development opportunities

Key requirements

• NQ-1 year PQE in property litigation
• Experience gained during training or in a newly qualified role
• Exposure to both residential and commercial contentious property matters
• Strong communication skills and confidence with a broad client base
• Empathy, resilience and professionalism in client matters
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
• Motivation to take on early responsibility and develop expertise
