Overview
In this role you will support a growing Real Estate team at a well-regarded law firm in Exeter. You will advise national and regional clients on a broad range of commercial property matters, balancing independent caseload management with collaboration in a high-performing practice. The position offers hybrid working and an initial in-office onboarding period to facilitate integration. You will contribute to business development and strengthen long-standing advisor relationships, helping shape the firm’s property practice and client service.

Responsibilities
- Advise on sales and purchases of commercial property
- Handle commercial leases and development matters
- Act for lenders and borrowers in property transactions
- Maintain and develop relationships with surveyors, accountants, banks, and advisers
- Manage own caseload with autonomy
- Contribute to business development and growth of the team
- Attend Exeter office 2-3 days per week during onboarding and integration
- Support junior team members and supervise where appropriate
Key requirements
- 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property
- Strong technical skills across real estate matters
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration
