Support Engineer – BMS

Overview

In this role, you will support and optimise building management systems to improve energy performance across sites in Yorkshire. You’ll be part of the BMS Support team, delivering planned maintenance, small upgrades, and swift responses to issues. You will drive system improvements and provide clear onsite reports, contributing to SSE’s sustainability goals. Responsibilities

• Carry out BMS pre-planned maintenance, small upgrades and additional works
• Respond to and resolve reactive breakdowns, including out-of-hours standby
• Identify system improvements such as upgrades, enhancements and software improvements for energy performance
• Provide detailed, concise reports based on onsite activities

Key requirements

• Experience with Siemens, Trend or Tridium BEMS/HVAC Building Controls
• Experience with Siemens Apogee advantageous (training provided)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with customers and external service providers
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to deliver technical support and coaching
• Agile working approach and ability to support an on-call rota
• Full driving licence for site travel
