Overview

In this board-level Finance & Operations role, you will steer financial planning, budgeting and forecasting while driving overall business performance in a high-growth FMCG environment. You will partner with senior stakeholders to assess growth opportunities, manage cash and profitability, and lead cross-functional teams across finance, supply chain and procurement. You will build scalable processes and controls to support scale and potential exit, delivering operational excellence and strategic investments. Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Own profitability, cash flow and commercial decision-making
  • Develop and manage finance, operations and cross-functional teams
  • Oversee supply chain, logistics, procurement and fulfilment for efficiency and service levels
  • Build scalable processes, systems and controls to support growth
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to evaluate growth opportunities and strategic projects
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation to sustain performance
  • Support supplier and partner relationships for strong commercial outcomes

Key requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience with international supply chains and third-party manufacturing
  • Experience implementing or improving ERP, MRP or business management systems
  • Involvement in acquisitions, fundraising, strategic investments or exits
  • Senior leadership experience in operations, finance or general management
  • P&L ownership and accountability for commercial performance
  • Manufacturing, product-based or distribution environment experience
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, controls and business planning
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Strategic, data-driven mindset
