Senior Product Security Engineer

Overview

In this role you will strengthen the security posture of our payments products and guide secure-by-design development. You’ll partner with engineering to embed security across the product lifecycle, balancing risk with business goals as we scale. You will perform threat modelling and architecture reviews to shape next‑generation payment solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a chance to impact a growing payments platform and help customers transact securely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate security practices across the product lifecycle
• Define defence-in-depth security requirements aligned with technology strategy and business goals
• Perform architecture reviews and threat modelling across cloud (GCP and AWS) and containerised environments
• Risk-assess and prioritise findings from reviews, pentesting, and AppSec/CSPM tooling, delivering remediation guidance

Key requirements

• Proven experience in Cyber Security, Application Security, or Secure Software Development
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevSecOps, and CI/CD security tooling
• Experience conducting threat modelling, security architecture reviews, and risk assessments
• Familiarity with cloud security (GCP/AWS), Kubernetes, and penetration testing or vulnerability management
• Pragmatic, collaborative mindset with ability to partner with engineering teams in a fast-growing scaleup
