Overview

In this role you will lead and grow a commercial property practice within a respected Cardiff law firm. You will manage a varied caseload and contribute to the department’s strategic growth while mentoring junior colleagues and building key client relationships. The role offers autonomy to run your own matters and collaborate with the Head of Department to expand the team across offices. Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing a varied commercial property caseload (acquisitions/disposals, leases, development, landlord/tenant, secured lending)
  • Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting the team
  • Building relationships with clients, agents, lenders and stakeholders
  • Contributing to business development and strategic growth of the department
  • Collaborating with Head of Department to expand the team’s reach and reputation
  • Working autonomously with capacity to run and grow your own caseload

Key requirements

  • Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive at Senior Associate or Partner level
  • Experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Ability to run a caseload independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong drafting, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Collaborative and values-driven approach
  • Commercial awareness and practical, solution-focused advice
