Consultant Psychiatrist Hull Integrated Care Team Older People (East)

Overview

In this role you will lead medical care within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health services for older people. You will influence clinical practice, support research, and contribute to service development within the Integrated Care Team for Older People. The post involves on-call duties for Old Age Psychiatry and Learning Disability, with access to inpatient facilities if needed. Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership within a multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to development and innovation of the team’s clinical approach
• Participate in the specialist on-call rota for Old Age Psychiatry and Learning Disability
• Deliver safe and effective care and treatment in the HICTOP pathway
• Engage in research and service development to support the integrated care vision

Key requirements

• Full GMC registration
• MRCPsych UK or equivalent postgraduate qualification
• Inclusion on Specialist Register for Old Age Psychiatry, or within 6 months of CCT
• Approved Clinician status or ability to obtain S12(2) training within 3 months
• Ability to commute within the Trust’s geographical area
• Full UK driving licence or alternative evidence
• MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
