As Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you ensure a clean, well-maintained environment that supports resident comfort and staff effectiveness. You’ll lead a team, work with the General Manager on budget planning, and coordinate with contractors for specialised jobs. Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, well-kept environment across building, gardens and grounds
• Lead a maintenance team and support the General Manager with annual budget planning
• Liaise with contractors for work outside the team’s expertise
• Prioritise resident wellbeing and ensure work respects their needs

Key requirements

• Hands-on property maintenance experience
• At least one trade skill
• Full UK driving licence
• IT literacy
• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
