Overview
In this role you will support the product team to deliver user-centric digital products and services. You will elicit and analyse business needs, translate them into clear requirements and acceptance criteria, and ensure delivery aligns with the intended outcomes. You will work across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery to live service and continuous improvement, partnering with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
- Elicit business needs via workshops, interviews, observation, and analysis of existing processes and data
- Map current-state processes and define future-state options with impacts on people, processes and systems
- Translate needs into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
- Support Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritisation based on business value and user impact
- Analyse data, integrations and interfaces to understand dependencies and information flows
- Assess value, risk, complexity, dependency and operational impact of changes
- Produce clear documents: process maps, requirements, decision logs and options analysis
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with architects, engineers and testers
- Define test scenarios, coordinate UAT, release readiness and continuous improvement
- Contribute to release notes, user guidance and stakeholder communications
- Understand product usage and combine evidence with user feedback to inform decisions
- Support adoption and identify training or usability improvements
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Experience as a business analyst on digital products or services across lifecycle
- Elicitation, process mapping and current-to-future-state analysis experience
- Familiarity with Agile and Jira/Confluence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Analytical mindset with interest in systems, business process and user-centred design
- Stakeholder management for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, testers and UX
- Genuine interest in users and usability
- Curiosity and proactive problem-solving
- Self-motivation and adaptability in a fast-paced, agile environment
