Overview

In this Process Operative role you ensure efficient operation of dairy processes from intake to final product. You will monitor computer-controlled production systems, perform sampling and testing, and maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. You’ll support continuous improvement to cut waste and boost productivity while ensuring compliance at every stage. This position offers hands-on manufacturing experience within a supportive team and clear opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Monitor computerised production systems from intake to finished product
• Sample, test and analyse raw materials and products
• Load and unload tankers safely and efficiently
• Record and maintain accurate process documentation
• Perform laboratory testing and report results
• Follow SOPs and food safety standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure product quality and compliance throughout the process

Key requirements

• Experience working with computers in a manufacturing/production environment
• Previous manufacturing or production experience, preferably with food/beverage/FMCG
• Ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced setting
