Bank Podiatrist- Brent

Overview

In this Bank role you will deliver specialist podiatric biomechanics and MSK care across community clinics and acute sites, acting as clinical lead for biomechanics and shaping evidence-based treatment plans. You’ll educate colleagues and junior staff, contribute to multidisciplinary projects, and promote foot function to prevent and manage MSK issues. The position offers flexible bank hours across Harrow or Brent within a large, values-driven community health team.

Responsibilities

• Guide and educate podiatry staff within the team and across CLCH Podiatry
• Motivate admin and clerical staff to support multidisciplinary work
• Review guidelines and protocols for biomechanical disorders and feed into MSK projects
• Collaborate across organizational sectors to develop the service based on user needs
• Participate in forums and analyze user feedback to improve service delivery
• Deliver education and training to health and social care professionals, patients, and colleagues

Key requirements

• HCPC registration
• Band 6+ experience with high-risk caseloads (neuro, rheum, ortho, sports medicine)
• Multidisciplinary and interagency working experience
• Experience with NHS environment
• Clinical supervision/mentoring experience
• Service development experience
• Postgraduate education in Biomechanics/MSK (Cert to M level)
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
