Senior Programme Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead Peabody’s investment programmes for existing homes, shaping delivery across fire remediation, planned investment and major works. You’ll provide strategic leadership and governance across a diverse portfolio, ensuring investments are timely and well-governed. You will develop reporting frameworks, performance insights and forecasting to support informed decisions at all levels. This position offers impact across a large housing portfolio, with a strong emphasis on data-driven delivery and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maximise investment opportunities and deliver positive outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of reporting tools, dashboards and performance measures to visualize programme delivery
• Act as a trusted data source to support decision-making across the business
• Shape investment plans by aligning budgets, grant funding and strategic priorities across the housing portfolio
• Oversee grant applications, claims and compliance throughout programme lifecycles
• Provide governance, assurance and performance oversight for fire remediation, planned investment and major works
• Identify programme risks, develop mitigation strategies and monitor strategic KPIs
• Build strong relationships with Regional MDs, contractors and stakeholders to support objectives
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership and boards
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing new ways of working and improving processes
• Lead on funding compliance and forecasting with Homes England, the GLA and internal teams

Key requirements

• Significant experience managing complex housing, investment, asset management, major works or fire remediation programmes
• Strong experience producing programme reports, dashboards and management information
• Experience managing budgets, financial forecasting and grant-funded programmes
• Knowledge of programme governance, assurance, compliance and risk management
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations
• Experience working with senior leaders and presenting to executive or board-level audiences
• Knowledge of Homes England or GLA funding programmes or government grant compliance would be advantageous
