Senior Psychologist – Intensive Case Management and Rehab Pathway

Overview

You will join a brand-new Intensive Case Management Pathway to provide expert psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions for adults with complex mental health needs. In this role you support recovery-focused care across community and home settings within a collaborative MDT, shaping a new service and driving timely, flexible care. You will manage risk and engage with challenging clients within a trauma-informed framework, contributing to service development and continuity of care. Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments using integrated data from multiple sources
• Plan and deliver formal psychological treatment and management of client mental health problems
• Deliver interventions for individuals, carers, families, and groups; refine formulations using multiple models
• Assist the triage and determine appropriate level of treatment for referrals
• Work within a multidisciplinary team with shared caseload and regular MDT reviews

Key requirements

• Doctoral qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent) with current HCPC registration
• Significant experience in specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for adults with severe/complex mental health issues including psychosis

• Collaborative teamwork in multidisciplinary settings
• Recovery-focused and trauma-informed approach
• Ability to engage with challenging clients and manage complexity
• Advanced knowledge of psychological therapies, risk assessment, formulation and consultation
• Application of complex clinical frameworks to diverse presentations
• Knowledge of services for psychosis, rehabilitation or Intensive Case Management (desirable)
