Personal Injury Solicitor / Legal Executive – Nottingham

Overview

In this role you will handle a high-volume personal injury caseload focused on Employer Liability and Public Liability, managing portal and non-portal matters from start to finish. You will work within a supportive team, aiming to meet fee targets while providing clear client advice and contributing to business development. The position offers hybrid working after initial training, with an emphasis on collaborative problem-solving and a client-centric approach. This is an opportunity to progress within a busy, litigation-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload from start to finish, including litigated matters
• handle both Portal and non-Portal cases
• draft correspondence and legal documents
• advise clients clearly and effectively
• meet fee-earning and time recording targets
• contribute to business development and strengthen client/referrer relationships
• work within fast-track caseload with some multi-track exposure
• collaborate with a supportive team and stakeholders

Key requirements

• at least 3 years’ PQE
• solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation rights
• experience in Employer Liability and Public Liability claims
• strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, pre-action protocols, and the Damages Claims Portal
• ability to manage a high-volume caseload
• commercial and client-focused approach
• excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• willingness to participate in hybrid working after training
