Dashboard Developer

Overview

In this role you will design and deliver intuitive dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs, craft visually compelling representations, and extend dashboards to leverage Data Lake capabilities. You’ll help ensure data accessibility and accuracy while supporting reporting and governance within a higher-education context. This is a hybrid opportunity in Central London, offering a chance to shape data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports
• Translate user requirements into visual data solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand stakeholder needs
• Create visually appealing dashboards that enable actionable insights
• Leverage Data Lake to enhance data accessibility and relevance
• Produce internal and external reports for regulatory bodies
• Ingest and transform data from multiple sources for dashboards
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance in dashboards and reports

Key requirements

• Experience with SQL for data exploration and manipulation
• Proven dashboard and reporting experience (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or similar)
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with data lakes/storage and data modelling
• Experience generating regulatory reports
• Higher Education domain experience, especially with Student Systems such as SITS
• Ability to collect stakeholder requirements and translate into engaging visuals
• Azure Cloud platform experience
• Power BI certification or equivalent
• Knowledge of other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) is a plus
