Warehouse Operative Location: Lisburn Pay Rate: £14.65 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:45-15:30, Friday 06:45-12:30 Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading global engineering and technology organisation to recruit for a Warehouse Operative based in Lisburn. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse environment where you will play an important role in ensuring materials are received, stored, picked and supplied efficiently to support ongoing production. What you will be doing
- Receiving and unloading incoming shipments, ensuring goods are accurately recorded using scanners and digital inventory systems.
- Using SAP to maintain accurate inventory records and support day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Sorting and storing materials safely and efficiently across warehouse racks and shelving.
- Picking and preparing orders for delivery or collection within required timescales.
- Preparing material kits to support production schedules.
- Carrying out regular stock counts and location audits to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment in line with company procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues across the warehouse and production teams to meet daily targets.
What you will need
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally 3+ years.
- A reliable and hardworking approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous experience using SAP or another Warehouse Management System would be highly beneficial.
- A valid Reach Forklift Licence is preferred.
