Production / Operations Manager

Im working for a leading food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production / Operations Manager to join its team at a high-performing processing facility. With a strong market presence and a reputation for quality, this is an exciting opportunity to lead production operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
The Role:
As a key member of the site management team, you will oversee all production activities across intake, processing, and support services. The plant uses the latest AI supported technology for processing and further capital investment is planned. Youll lead a dedicated team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day production and shift performance
- Lead and develop a high-performing team
- Drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
- Optimise plant performance and minimise downtime
- Lead and implement CI initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and H&S regulations
- Support people development through training and performance management
About You:
- Ideally, you will have a third-level qualification in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years management experience in FMCG, food, or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven success in driving KPIs, efficiency, and team performance
