Lavender Lodge is a warm, person-centred nursing home in the heart of Derby. We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team — someone who believes that quality care and genuine kindness go hand in hand.
**The Role**
– Lead clinical care for a defined group of residents, ensuring safe and dignified support at all times
– Undertake assessments, develop and review personalised care plans
– Administer medications safely in line with NMC standards
– Monitor residents’ health and liaise with GPs and external professionals
– Supervise and mentor care staff, acting as clinical lead on shift
– Maintain accurate records in line with CQC requirements
– Work closely with families, keeping them informed and involved

– Current NMC registration (RGN, RMN, or dual-qualified)
– Genuine commitment to person-centred, dignified care
– Strong communication skills with residents, families, and the wider team
– Calm, decisive, and organised under pressure
– Willingness to lead by example and support junior staff

About the Role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
