We are recruiting Technical Authors based at Sellafield, CumbriaThe role will be 5 days per week on site (there may be some hybrid working at the Managers discretion)Candidates will require security clearance and should be British Citizens and British passport holders.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo produce a suite of compliant, professionally produced working level Operation, Maintenance (O&M) and emergency instructions within defined time frames.Develop Risk Assessment requirements in support of Working Level Instructions. Interrogating engineering / design and vendor information to produce the Volume C Documents.Carrying out on plant validation, and post validation / red pen changes of the working level instructions.Manage communication between stakeholders and support plant walk downs to enable Site familiarisation.Reporting directly to the Pre-Operations Manager.Providing weekly progress updates.Attending progress meetings.Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm.Ensuring quality standards, and consistency are applied throughout the range of documentation being produced. xwwtmva ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSE&I biasNuclear backgroundMinimum HNC in an appropriate discipline (Mechanical or Electrical)IOSH Working/Managing Safely or equivalentThe ability to obtain SC security clearance is essential for this roleE&I bias requiredDESIGN TOOLS / SOFTWAREMicrosoft suite.
