Project Manager – Social Housing Planned WorksBirmingham based£60k – £65k + Car / Allowance + BenefitsWe are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver Social Housing refurbishment schemes in Birmingham.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Project Manager with a determined and motivated attitude, or an experienced Senior Site Manager who is looking to progress with a market leader. Works include internal and external upgrades to tenanted properties, including new kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing, and some decarbonisation projects.
Daily Responsibilities:Manage all day to day operations of the capital improvement programmes.Identifying discrepancies and risks and taking appropriate actions, reporting back to relevant stakeholders when this occursWork closely and meet with client and stakeholders on site to survey and complete property condition reports.Developing policies & procedures to support the achievement of new projectsSite visits to undertake inspections of works and/or liaise with trade operatives, tenants, contractors or statutory bodies to resolve any issues and ensure high satisfaction is achievedMaintain Health and Safety and environmental management.Drawing up construction phase safety plans and ensuring the safe delivery set out within each plan.Understand and manage all client expectations maintaining good working relations.Complete project handover and ensure everything is defect/snag freeEssential Criteria:Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Site Manager on social housing planned worksExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsFull UK driving licenceKnowledge of building safety, fire compliance, and relevant post-Gateway requirementsRelevant construction or project management qualification (e.g. HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent experience)To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
