The CompanyInteraction Technical is working in partnership with a well-established specialist engineering business that provides installation, inspection, servicing, and repair solutions for truck-mounted cranes and lifting equipment across the UKDue to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Crane Technician to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on industry-leading HMF and PM lorry loader cranes, with full training and ongoing development available.

The RoleAs a
Crane Technician , you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of
HMF and PM lorry-mounted cranes
at customer sites throughout the UK.This role would suit a technician with experience in cranes, hydraulics, lifting equipment, plant machinery, commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, or other heavy engineering sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HMF and PM cranesDiagnose and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faultsConduct LOLER inspections, testing, and certification workManufacture, repair, and replace hydraulic hosesAttend breakdowns and provide effective on-site supportComplete inspections and service documentation accuratelyEnsure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry standardsDeliver a professional service while maintaining strong customer relationships
What We’re Looking ForExperience working on truck-mounted cranes, hydraulic equipment, plant machinery, commercial vehicles, or lifting equipmentStrong hydraulic fault-finding and diagnostic skillsGood mechanical and electrical knowledgeAbility to work independently in a field service environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesFull UK Driving LicencePositive and professional approach to customer service
Desirable QualificationsALLMI CertificationOperator CertificationThorough Examiner CertificationLOLER Inspection experienceManufacturer training on HMF, PM, Palfinger, Fassi, Atlas, or similar equipmentCandidates without the above qualifications are still encouraged to apply, as full product and industry training can be provided.
