Our company is also supported by the UK Space Agency, the UKs Department of Science and Technology (DSIT) and the UK Ministry of Defence.About the jobWere looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team and help us attract and hire top talent in the laser communications industry. You will take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of recruitment activity, helping to provide an efficient and engaging hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity within our ATS, including opening and closing vacancies, progressing candidates through recruitment pipelines and maintaining accurate candidate and vacancy informationPartner with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment activity, understand hiring requirements and keep recruitment processes moving efficientlyReview and screen CVs against role requirements, identifying candidates to progress through the recruitment processConduct initial screening calls with candidates to assess experience, motivation and suitabilityCoordinate and complete pre-employment checks as part of the onboarding and recruitment processProactively identify and engage potential candidates through our internal database, professional networks, job boards and other external sourcing channelsMonitor recruitment performance using pipeline metrics, sourcing data and job board effectiveness, providing insight into where we can improve hiring outcomesMaintain a high-quality candidate experience through timely, professional and engaging communication throughout the recruitment processEnsure candidate information and recruitment activity are managed in line with GDPR requirements and internal processes.Requirements:3+ years experience in a recruitment-focused roleExperience managing recruitment activity and candidate pipelines using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Experience recruiting for technical, engineering or other specialist rolesExperience proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidatesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneouslyGood understanding of GDPR requirements and the appropriate handling of candidate and recruitment dataA proactive and collaborative approach to working with hiring managers, candidates and colleaguesDesirableadditional skills:Experience analysing recruitment funnel performance and the effectiveness of different sourcing channelsExperience working in a start-up, scale-up or other fast-paced environmentLocation:Our office is based in Osney Mead, Oxford. There may be opportunity to work from home as agreed with your line manager.
