Echelon Engineers are partnering up with a well established manufacturer of process plant and capital equipment is looking to add a Project Engineer to its growing team. This is a hands on, technically focused role suited to an engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to delivery.You will play a key part in the successful execution of engineering projects, working closely with design, manufacturing and production teams to ensure work is delivered to specification, on time and to a high technical standard.
Key responsibilitiesSupport the delivery of engineering projects from a technical standpointInterpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsLiaise with manufacturing and production teams throughout the build processEnsure projects meet technical, quality and timescale requirementsContribute engineering knowledge and problem solving across live projects
What we are looking forA few years’ experience in a project or design engineering role (up to around five years)Manufacturing or production experience within an engineering environmentConfidence interpreting technical drawingsRelevant industry experience is an advantage, though strong transferable experience from a related engineering sector will be consideredA proactive, delivery focused approach with strong communication skills
