The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a
Mid-Level IT Systems Developer
to join a small, collaborative IT team within an established organisation.This is a great role for a developer who has moved beyond junior level and is looking for the opportunity to take ownership of defined development work, contribute to important business systems, and play an active role in improving and modernising existing technology.The environment offers plenty of scope to broaden your technical knowledge, work across a range of systems and technologies, and contribute to the future development of the organisation’s IT function.
Technical Requirements
You will ideally have strong commercial development experience with:C# and .NET FrameworkWinForms development , including maintaining and enhancing legacy applicationsBlazorSQL Server , including database design and performance optimisationExperience integrating systems and managing data across multiple platformsStrong understanding of software development principles, testing and version controlExperience with legacy technologies or applications is also valuable, particularly where you have worked with technologies such as
VB.NET or Delphi .
Desirable Experience
Experience modernising legacy systems and moving towards more maintainable architecturesExperience within manufacturing, logistics or another operational environmentExposure to ERP systemsExperience integrating multiple business systems and managing data flows between themExperience with
DevExpress
or other third-party development componentsExperience with
VBAExposure to modern web-based .NET technologies such as
