Engineering Technician (Plumbing / Mechanical) | Glasgow | Up to £40,955 | Permanent | 37.5hrs – Monday / Friday 07.00 – 15.00I’m currently working with a well-established private healthcare facility in Glasgow and am looking for experienced Engineering Technicians with a mechanical or plumbing bias to express interest ahead of potential upcoming opportunities.This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per weekThe RoleYou’ll be joining a close-knit engineering team responsible for maintaining a busy healthcare facility to the highest standards
covering planned, reactive and remedial maintenance across the site.Key responsibilities include:Completing all planned, reactive and remedial work orders promptly and to a high standardProviding routine and specialist engineering maintenance and breakdown supportMentoring and supporting junior technicians and engineering assistantsDelivering technical, health, safety and environmental support across the siteSupporting the wider team and sharing skills and knowledgeWhat You’ll NeedCity & Guilds Part 3, ONC or NVQFull UK driving licence
essentialStrong understanding of H&S legislation and ACOPsSound fault finding ability and ability to read technical drawingsTime-served apprenticeship preferredL8 Legionella knowledge desirable
