This is stock control with a difference: every item you handle is top-of-the-range furniture, bespoke FF&E or a luxury accessory on its way to a high-end show home or staging installation.A general warehouse or FMCG stock background alone will not be enough. The right person has an interest in furniture and interiors, understands fittings and installations, and takes real pride in precision, from database accuracy to spotting a scratch in a wood finish.What you will be doing:Stock control and inventory management through a digital asset management system: scanning, logging, tracking and reconciling stock movements in real time for 100% database accuracyGoods-in quality inspection of brand-new staging stock, bespoke furniture and luxury accessories, documenting transit damage, manufacturing flaws and finish inconsistenciesReturns and claims processing: logging non-conformances and coordinating repairs, replacements or returns with procurement and designersLoading and unloading vans, wrapping, strapping and stowing items securely to eliminate transit damageDriving company 3.5t Luton vans between sites, client properties and suppliers when requiredSupporting installations, property collections and container offloads across a four-warehouse operationMaintaining a pristine, safe and well-organised warehouse with strict health and safety complianceWhat you will need:Experience in stock control, inventory management, quality assurance or furniture/interiors logisticsAn interest in furniture, FF&E, interiors, fittings or installations; you must care about the product, not just the processExceptional attention to detail on high-end fabrics, wood finishes, metalwork and delicate itemsFull clean UK driving licence, confident driving 3.5t Luton or box vansComfortable with inventory software, tablets and handheld barcode scannersPhysically fit for sustained manual handling, container offloads and installation daysHonesty, accountability and clear communication with warehouse teams, designers and directorsWhat is on offer:£30,000 starting salary with a defined path to £36,000 within 18 months across a growing four-warehouse operation25 days holiday plus 5 paid sick daysFree parkingMonday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, no weekendsA prestigious, trusted role working alongside warehouse managers, with your input instantly recognisedIf you want your stock control skills to count for something special, apply today or contact The Talent Branch
