Key ResponsibilitiesAs a
Pastoral Behaviour Support Officer , you will:Manage and organise the Relocation RoomSupervise students who have been removed from lessonsMaintain a calm, structured and focused environmentUse strong behaviour management to maintain clear expectationsSupport students to regulate their behaviour and remain on taskEnsure students complete classwork and learning activitiesSupport the Pastoral Leader with behaviour and pastoral interventionsHold restorative conversations with studentsMonitor behaviour, engagement and student progressComplete relevant administrative tasks and recordsCommunicate with teachers, Heads of Year and senior leaders
About YouThe school is looking for a Pastoral Behaviour Support Officer who is calm, resilient, organised and confident managing challenging behaviour. You will need excellent communication skills, strong boundaries and the ability to remain professional in difficult situations.
A degree, preferably at 2:1 or above, is required, and strong A-level and GCSE results are desirable. Experience working with young people through education, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, sports or similar settings would be advantageous.
